artist statement
My work aims to express the world as I view it in a musical division of space. I create a structure in which nature’s rhythmic patterns are synthesized and transformed into abstract compositions that reflect a musical subdivision. In this manner, I strip the object of the parameters that define it in an effort to communicate to the viewer, the object as experienced, rather than in a static state.
